NotesMatt Zaleski gets the start tonight for the Knights, not Deunte Heath as had previously been reported. Not a scratch for Heath, just a mixup. ... Thursday’s starter Shawn Hill was placed on the disabled list this afternoon. He had complained of lacking drive in his legs following the outing. … The newly acquired (from the Houston Astros organization) Bobby Doran has taken Hill’s place on the Knights 25-man roster. He’ll wear No. 28. … Chiefs’ starter Aaron Laffey enters today leading the International League in wins with 11. He’s seventh in ERA at 2.82. … With a 4-for-5 night with two runs batted in, Syracuse OF Steven Souza Jr. moved into first in the IL in RBIs with 60. His batting average climbed to .374 (also an IL best). … After spending most of the season with the lowest combined batting average of any team in the IL, the Knights have moved up to 11th (.250). … Josh Phegley, Marcus Semien and Carlos Sanchez each had three-hit games in last night’s 11-6 loss to Syracuse.
